Improving life outcomes
There is nothing more important than family and community. That is why the Greater Building Society has established the Greater Charitable Foundation – to support families and communities by providing opportunities designed to improve life outcomes.
The Greater has made an initial allocation of $1 million to the Foundation and will continue to fund the Foundation out of its profits on an ongoing basis.
The Greater’s members and its staff have a proud tradition of supporting charities and community organisations. The Greater Charitable Foundation formalises and takes this support to a new level.
The Foundation seeks to fund significant projects that will make a lasting difference to the lives of people within the Greater’s area of operations. It will partner with Australian-based charitable organisations to fund practical initiatives which directly support families and communities.
The Foundation has its own Board and Chief Executive Officer who make funding allocations independent of the Greater.
A key platform of the Foundation’s activities will be the involvement of Greater staff in funded projects through volunteering or pro bono assistance.
The Greater will continue to directly sponsor commercial activities and events. Click here for sponsorship information and guidelines.
