The Greater Building Society has appointed New
Zealander, Graham Tooley, as its Treasury Manager. Mr Tooley took up
the position this month.

Mr Tooley took up the position this month.
He is responsible for managing the company's interest rate risk,
liquidity risk and ensuring the company has access to a wide range of
funds.
Mr Tooley has more than 15 years experience in treasury management
and financial services. Before joining the Greater he was Manager
Treasury Accounting at Fonterra Dairy Group. Fonterra is one of New
Zealand's largest companies and accounts for approximately 20 percent
of all New Zealand's exports.
He also worked for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd
for 10 years in various roles, including managing treasury finance.
Greater Building Society CEO John Arnold said Mr Tooley's position
was a new one brought about by the Greater's continued business
expansion.
"I am pleased to have someone with Graham's experience managing the
important area of treasury finance as we continue to grow our
business," Mr Arnold says.
Mr Tooley, his wife and three children relocated across the Tasman earlier this year.
"Newcastle offered me a great job and a wonderful lifestyle for me and my family," Mr Tooley says.
The Newcastle based Greater Building Society now has 63 branches and
is one of the fastest growing building societies in the country.
