The Greater Building Society has taken its ground-breaking home loan reward scheme one step further today!
The Greater Building Society has taken its ground-breaking home loan reward scheme one step further today with chief executive John Arnold announcing that customers taking out a $320,000 home loan will receive a free holiday to Hong Kong Disneyland.
The package includes return airfares from Sydney to Hong Kong, five nights accommodation, daily breakfasts, Disneyland passes and airport transfers for two people.
“The Greater has searched worldwide to come up with a very special deal for customers taking out a new home or swapping their existing loan,” Mr Arnold said.
“A trip to Hong Kong, including Disneyland, is the trip of a lifetime,” he said.
The Greater was the first Australian financial institution to introduce holiday offers to home loan customers in April 2001. Since that time borrowers have received holiday reward points to the value of $29 million, and more than 22,000 holidays have been taken to destinations in Australia and internationally.
He said that Greater home loan customers also received a fee free savings account. Customers wishing to swap their loan from another institution only had to fill in one simple form.
“You take out a home loan and we give you a free holiday - it is that simple.”
“Our holiday rewards program is one of the ways we genuinely reward our customers for their business.”
It was the popularity of a five night Fiji holiday for home loans valued at $200,000 introduced last year Mr Arnold said that prompted the Greater to add another international destination to the program.
A major television campaign in the Greater's traditional market of regional NSW and South East Queensland promoting the new offer is underway.
