Internet Banking - Remote Authorisation

Greater Internet Banking customers now have the ability to remotely authorise Internet Banking Transactions when two or more signatories are required to authorise a transaction.

The signatory performing the transaction can select "Authorise Now" if the other signatory/s is on site, or alternatively can select "Send Authorisation Request" which will allow the transaction to be authorised from another location as follows:

  • Customer 1 logs on to the Greater Internet Banking site to process and authorise a transaction.
  • Customer 2 will receive an email advising that a transaction is waiting for authorisation.
  • Customer 2 logs on to the Greater website on another PC in a different location.
  • Customer 2 can view and authorise the transaction.
