You can help one of the anticipated 800 families who will this year either go without Christmas presents and festivities or find themselves in further debt as a result of the seasons’ expenses.
The Samaritans, Wesley Mission, and The Salvation Army are again working together on a Hunter Community Christmas Appeal.

Donated gifts will be brought together in one shop front to allow parents of those families to “shop” for a present for their kids this Christmas. Food vouchers rather than food hampers are also provided, giving people the dignity of choice. Donated food provides additional assistance.

You can help needy families enjoy a normal  Australian family Christmas celebration by:

• donating gifts or toys at any Greater Building Society branch or NSW Club
•  purchasing a Charlestown Square Gift Card from the customer service desks
  located on Level 1 outside JB Hi-Fi, or Level 1 at the Pearson Street
  entrance.
