The Greater Building Society has today donated $100,000 to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal on behalf of its members and staff to help those people devastated by the recent Queensland floods.

CEO Don Magin said that the floods had tragically affected so many people and the Greater wanted to make a small contribution to help them to rebuild their lives and their communities. 

Mr Magin said that some of its members live or work in Brisbane or have family members in Queensland affected by the floods.

“Any Greater customer who is experiencing financial difficulty as a result of the floods should call our customer centre on 1300 651 400 or visit their local branch to discuss their needs,” Mr Magin said.

“Our hearts and best wishes go out to the people of Queensland at this difficult time,” he said.  
 
The NSW based Greater Building Society has seven of its 66 branches on the Gold Coast and provides mobile banking in Townsville. The Greater is AFR Smart Investor’s Building Society of the Year.
