The Greater Building Society has relocated its Hilltop Plaza branch to a new, purpose built branch inside the newly opened section of the Charlestown Square shopping complex.
The Greater’s head of property Duncan Coulton said that the new branch, located on the ground floor opposite the Terry White Chemist, gives the Greater a great presence inside the Hunter’s fastest growing retail complex.
He said that the new branch gives customers the added convenience of one-stop shopping and increased access to parking.
“The Greater is always looking at ways to improve their service, and this includes making branches comfortable and efficient,” Mr Coulton said.
Branch manager Dean Pearson is excited about the relocation, as Charlestown is one of the first of new-look Greater branches to be rolled out in NSW.
Mr Pearson said the new branch was “colourful, warm and inviting, to better match our friendly service”.
The Greater is also installing a new ATM in Charlestown Square as part of a $300,000 project to expand its ATM network by 10 this year that is expected to be operational by the end of next month. This will take the number of Greater ATMs in Charlestown to four. It is retaining the ATM at its former Charlestown branch for the convenience of customers. The new branch has an ATM and there is already an ATM outside Target on Level 1 in Charlestown Square.
Charlestown is one of 66 Greater Building Society branches located across regional NSW and the Gold Coast.
The branch’s phone and fax numbers remain the same.
