Greater Building Society is proudly supporting the 2011 Hunter Track Classic.

This athletics event is one of the Hunter Region’s sporting highlights of the year. The Hunter Track Classic attracts the best athletes from all over the country and will be watched by around 4000 spectators.

Last year a good crowd came to Tamsyn Lewis take out the Women’s 400m and Jacob Groth take out the Men’s 100m and 200m events.

2010 Australian 100m bronze medalist Laura Whaler, who is also a Greater Building Society Sports Scholarship recipient, is hoping to qualify for the World Championships in 100m and 200m at the meet.
