Greater Building Society is upgrading and relocating its Corrimal branch and ATM to a more convenient location for more customers according to branch manager Tracey Farrugia.

The new branch, located next to Gloria Jeans, will open on Monday December 12 at Shop 1, Stockland Corrimal. The existing Corrimal Park Mall branch will close at 5pm on Friday December 9.

Ms Farrugia said the relocation meant that the branch will not be open on Saturday December 10 and the Corrimal ATM will not be available between Saturday December 10 and Monday December 12 inclusive. The Greater’s five other Illawarra branches will be open on Saturday. She said that the new branch has been designed to provide better customer and staff amenity. The Corrimal branch is the twelfth Greater branch to have a new “branch of the future” look that is being progressively rolled out across the Greater’s network of 68 branches.

“The new branch will allows customers to enjoy ultra-modern facilities including new sit-down counter service and meeting areas,” Ms Farrugia said.

“We believe that the branch’s more prominent location, facing out onto the Princes Highway and with access from the car park, will help to raise our profile to attract even more business,” she said.

“We are always looking at ways to make it easier for people to access our friendly staff and their money.”

“Our new branch is larger, more colourful, warmer and more inviting, to better match our friendly service.”

Phone and fax numbers remain unchanged.

The Corrimal branch has been in its current location since May 2005.
