Locals and visitors to Bateau Bay now have access to a new Greater Building Society ATM in the Stockland Bay Village shopping centre.

It is the first Greater ATM for the suburb and the twelfth Greater ATM on the Central Coast.

Regional manager Kevin Buckley said the new ATM was designed to provide the Greater’s growing local customer base with more convenient access to their money. 

“This ATM is part of a $300,000 project to install 10 new ATMs across its area of operations in 2010,” Mr Buckley said.

“The new ATM is conveniently located out the front of Coles supermarket,” he said.

Mr Buckley said that the investment is on top of the partnership with rediATM, effective July 1, that is providing Greater customers with direct charge free access to more than 3,100 ATMs around Australia, including 50 more on the Central Coast.

This week it was announced that another 350 ATMs nationally will be progressively added to the rediATM network from October.

“This is all part of our Jerry Seinfeld led campaign to expand our service offering to become a big, safe alternative to the major banks.”

“We are always looking to help our members to avoid fees and help make accessing their money even more convenient.”

Customers can search for ATMs via ATM locators on the Greater’s and rediATM’s websites. rediATM also has an SMS locator service and an iphone application.

The Greater has 66 branches and 91 ATMs across regional NSW and on the Gold Coast. The Greater’s seven Central Coast branches are located at Gosford, Erina, Toukley, Tuggerah, Woy Woy, The Entrance, and Lake Haven.
