Australia’s Building Society of the Year, hunter based Greater Building Society is expanding its presence in Morisset, installing a second ATM in the town.
The new ATM opened today in Morisset marketplace.
The Greater’s new Morisset branch manager Kelly Keywood said that the ATM was installed to provide the Greater’s growing local customers with more convenient access to their money.
“This ATM is part of a $300,000 project to install 10 new ATMs across its area of operations in 2010,” Ms Keywood said.
Ms Keywood, who grew up in Morisset and lives in the local area, is pleased to be managing her home-town branch. She has more than 10 years experience with the Greater and previously managed the Greater’s Toronto branch.
She said that the investment is on top of the partnership with rediATM that is providing Greater customers with direct charge free access to more than 3,500 ATMs around Australia, including Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.
“This is all part of our Jerry Seinfeld led campaign to expand our service offering to become a big, safe alternative to the major banks,” she said.
“We are always looking to help our members to avoid fees and help make accessing their money even more convenient.”
The Greater’s branches at Toronto, Toukley, Warners Bay and Lake Haven all have ATMs and there is a Greater ATM in Bonnells Bay.
Customers can search for ATMs via ATM locators on the Greater’s and rediATM’s websites as well as the Greater’s free iPhone application. RediATM also has an SMS locator service and an iPhone application.
The Greater has 66 branches and 92 ATMs across regional NSW and on the Gold Coast.
