The Greater Building Society’s new look branch at Raymond Terrace Marketplace will reopen for business on Friday September 30 following a major refurbishment.
The branch has been temporarily relocated to another shop inside Raymond Terrace Marketplace while the works have been completed. Branch staff will relocate back to the new look branch on Thursday night (September 29) to ensure no disruption of services to customers.
Branch manager Helen O’Connor said she looked forward to welcoming customers back into the new look branch that provides customers and staff with a more modern, warm and friendlier place to do business.
All of the Greater’s 67 branches are progressively being brought up to the new standard in branch design. The Raymond Terrace branch is the ninth branch to be upgraded.
“We are always looking at ways to improve our service and that includes making our branches more attractive, comfortable and efficient,” Ms O’Connor said.
The works included new sit-down counter service and meeting areas as well as a new Council approved awning and shop front sign.
The Greater’s branch has been in its current location since November 1999. The branch last received a refurbishment and was expanded in 2005.
