Greater Building Society is temporarily relocating its Jesmond branch while it creates a better branch for its customers. 

From 23 September the Greater will be located upstairs from its current location, near the top of escalator in the Stockland Shopping Centre. Phone and fax numbers remain unchanged.

The new branch is being redesigned to provide better customer and staff amenity. It is one of the first branches to receive a makeover that will progressively be rolled out across the Greater’s entire branch network.

The new branch is expected to be complete by the end of November. Customers will then enjoy:

• new sit-down counter service areas
• a casual meeting area for staff and customers
• the introduction of LCD displays
•  new colour schemes
• a new feature wall
• the inclusion of the Greater’s new logo (introduced last year) into branch signage.

We are always looking at ways to improve our service and that includes making our branches more attractive, comfortable and efficient. Our more colourful, warm and inviting branches will better match our friendly service.

We thank our customers for their understanding while we undertake this work and look forward to welcoming them to the new branch soon.

This year the Greater is celebrating 40 years of service to customers from its Jesmond branch.
