General Security Tips

  • If you receive a call from anyone claiming to be staff from the Greater Building Society requesting your PIN or Password, be suspicious as our staff will not call and ask you for this information.
  • Do not disclose your personal or account information over the phone unless you initiated the call.
  • Memorise your PIN (Personal Identification Number). Do not keep it with your card.
  • Do not disclose your PIN, password or confidential details to any person.
  • Sign new credit/debit cards immediately upon receipt. Destroy old cards once they have expired.
  • Report lost or stolen cards, chequebooks or passbooks to the Greater immediately on 1300 651 400.
  • Always check your statements and report any unauthorised transactions to the Greater immediately on 1300 651 400.
  • Notify the Greater on 1300 651 400 as soon as possible when you change your address.
