First Home Owner Grant Scheme
The First Home Owner Grant Scheme is a joint Federal and State Government initiative.
Eligible first homeowners are entitled to a one-off payment of $7,000 for existing and new homes.
In addition to the First Home Owner Grant, the NSW and QLD Governments also assist first homebuyers.
The "First Home Plus" scheme provides exemptions or discounts on transfer stamp duty or mortgage duty for homebuyers and builders.
In addition for NSW residents, a New Home Buyers Supplement of $3,000 will be added to the $7,000 First Home Owner Grant for eligible First Home Owner Grant applicants building a new home or buying a newly constructed home.
