Home and Contents insurance policies help you to repair or replace your home and its contents in the event of an event defined in your policy including fire, explosion, lightning or thunderbolt, earthquake, theft, malicious acts, impact damage, water or other liquids, falling trees, branches or aerials, damage by animals.

Landlord Insurance

Contents Insurance benefits

• New-for-old replacement of most contents (regardless of age)
• Fusion cover for the repair of electric motors^ (age limits apply)
• Loss of frozen food as a result of failure of the electrical supply or mechanical breakdown
• Up to $5,000 cover for fraudulent use of your lost or stolen credit card^
• Replacement of external door locks in the event your keys are stolen or you have been broken into up to $1,000
• The option to insure your precious jewellery and other valuables if they are lost, damaged or stolen outside of your home with Personal Effects Cover (including up to 35 days of overseas cover a year)
• Flexible payment options including monthly direct debits from your account or credit card at no extra cost
• 24 hour claims service

• Keep documentation of proof of ownership of all your contents and valuables. Record the make, model and serial numbers of all your high risk items. Photographs or video the items in your home.
