Affordable Home & Contents Insurance
Insure your home or contents for peace of mind, and if you insure both you'll be rewarded with a joint policy discount. A Western QBE Building and/or Contents Insurance policy will enable you to repair or replace your home and its contents in the event it is damaged or destroyed by a defined event as set out in Western QBE's policy wording. These may include:

- Lightning or thunderbolt
- Earthquake
- Theft
- Vandalism

- Water or other liquid

Information you Need when Obtaining a Quote

Affordable Valuables Insurance
Your valuable possessions are not covered by your home and contents policies if they are lost, damaged or stolen outside of the home. A Western QBE Valuables Policy protects your precious jewellery and other valuables if they are lost, damaged or stolen outside of your home. Valuables Policies are only available to those customers who have an existing Western QBE Contents Insurance Policy.
Landlords' Insurance
If you own a residential investment property ask about the Landlords insurance with options to cover:

- Chattels, such as carpets, curtains, fixtures & fittings
- Theft and vandalism by tenants

Proof of Ownership
It is important that your retain documentation of all your contents and valuables as proof of ownership in the event of a claim:
- Receipts, valuations, instruction manuals, guarantee certificates and catalogues
- Records of the make, model and serial numbers of all your high risk items
- Photographs or video footage of the items in your home
Lodging an Insurance Claim
In the event you need to lodge an insurance claim, you can contact Western QBE's 24-hour emergency claims service. To lodge your claim, simply contact Western QBE on 1300 361 516. A claim form will be forwarded to you for completion. You will be notified of any applicable excesses at the time of lodging your claim.
21-Day Money Back Guarantee
If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your Western QBE Insurance Policy, you may cancel it within 21 days of receipt by returning the policy and schedule to Western QBE's office or any branch of the Greater. If a claim has not been lodged during these 21 days, you will receive by return mail a cheque for the full amount you have paid.
