Verifying your Identity Online
The Greater uses greenID™, a secure, privacy-compliant online service that allows new customers, who wish to open a Bonus Saver or Term Investment Online account, to verify their identity at the time the account is being opened.
Personal information is collected and compared against information databases derived from organisations such as:
- Australian Electoral Commission
- NSW Electoral Commission
- Medicare Australia
- Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
- White Pages®
- Issuers of Australian Drivers Licenses (excluding Tasmania & Northern Territory)
- Australian Taxation Office
- Department of Immigration and Citizenship
