What are Online Statements?

GBS online statement service allows you to view your account statements online through GBS Internet Banking. These are stored for each statement cycle applicable to your accounts.

How Online Statements benefit me?

Online statements provide a fast convenient way to check your accounts, we will also display statements up to 7 years of statements (from July 2010). Avoid unnecessary delays in post, save space at home and more importantly, You can also do your bit for our planet!

How much does it cost?

Access to online statements is free of charge.

How often do I receive Online Statements?

Statements are stored in Internet banking on the same cycle as you currently receive paper.

What is the difference between Online Statements and the Transaction listing in Internet Banking?

Online statements are an exact replica of the statements we currently post to you, transaction listing is an up to date list of the recent transactions on your account.

How will I know when the most recent Online Statement is available to review?

Once you ‘Opt out of paper’ statements, you will receive an email from us when your statement is ready to view.

Can I access statements when I am overseas?

Yes, simply log on to your internet banking wherever you have Internet Access

Do I have to be registered for Internet banking to access Online statements?

Yes, you can register by calling our service centre on 1300651400 during business hours.

Do I need to advise GBS if I change my email address?

Yes, it is important to keep your email address up to date.

Do I need to advise of changes to my mailing address?

Yes, from time to time, we may need to contact you in writing.

How will my account information be kept safe & private?

Your statements and account information is secure within GBS Internet Banking.

Is there any security issues I should be aware of?

Just continue to keep your GBS Internet banking password safe and secure. You should also ensure you close the window that opens to display your statement to protect your statement information.

Can I print my Online statements? 

Yes, you will be able to print your statements from GBS Internet banking.

Can I save my Online Statements?

Yes, you can save your Online Statements to your computer if required.

How do I ‘Opt out of paper statements”?

To opt out of paper statements:

  • Log on to Internet banking
  • Navigate to the 'Maintenance panel' from the Menu
  • Select your account
  • Select “change how statements are delivered for this account”

Use this method to opt out of paper for all of your accounts.

How can I view Online Statements?

  • Log on to Internet banking
  • Navigate to the 'Statements panel' from the Menu
  • Select your account

Statements stored here are those that are posted to you based on the standard statement cycle for the account type.
