Internet Banking

The Greater's Internet Banking Service provides you with fast, convenient and secure access to information about your accounts and lets you make a number of transactions any time of the day or night. With our easy to use Internet Banking Service, you can manage your finances from the comfort of your home, office, hotel or wherever you have Internet access.

With Internet banking you can:

  • complete your banking without worrying about transaction fees
  • view the balances of all your Greater Building Society accounts
  • view and print statements on all your Greater Building Society accounts, and view recent transactions 
  • maintain SMS and Email alerts
  • export statement information for use in spreadsheet and accounting packages
  • immediately transfer funds between your Greater Building Society accounts
  • transfer funds from your Greater Building Society accounts to accounts held at any financial institution in Australia
  • make deposits to multiple third party accounts using the Batch Pay system
  • set up periodical payments from your Greater Building Society accounts
  • pay bills using BPAY®
  • view details of your previous Internet Banking sessions
  • View the amount of interest for a financial year
  • View statements for recently closed accounts

Registering for Internet Banking is easy

Phone 1300 651 400 or visit your local branch.

Once registered, we will email you your username and then provide you with a password, either via SMS or mail.

Simply click on the 'Log on' button and enter both your username and password.

With The Greater's Phone Banking Service you can quickly, conveniently and safely make BPAY® payments to pay your bills, transfer funds between your Greater Building Society accounts, obtain balances and check the last ten transactions on your account any time of the day or night, and without having to worry about transaction fees.

With Phone Banking you can:

  • view the balances of all your Greater Building Society accounts
  • immediately transfer funds between your Greater Building Society accounts
  • activate your Access or Visa Card
  • pay bills using BPAY®

Registering for Phone Banking is easy

Phone 1300 651 400 or visit your local branch.

Once registered, we will give you a temporary Access Code. The first time you access Phone Banking you will be required to change the Access Code.

To use phone banking, phone 1300 363 536 (if overseas phone 61 2 4921 9599 and enter your Customer ID (account number) and your Access Code. 

For joint accounts, both account holders should register individually to obtain separate Phone Banking access.
