You only need $1 to open a Little Bucks account. If your child is too young to sign for his or her Little Bucks account, it may be opened as a Trust Account, on the child's behalf.
For your child to open a Little Bucks account in his or her own name, he or she must be able to sign withdrawal slips.
Little Bucks is a Transaction Free Savings Account
As a Little Bucks member, you do not pay any transaction fees or account keeping fees on your savings account.
Telephone Banking Information at Call
If you are the parent or guardian who is the signatory on your child's Little Bucks account, you can obtain account balances via telephone banking on 1300 36 35 36 .
Internet Banking does your Banking anytime you want
If you're already enjoying the advantages of banking online with the Greater's Internet Banking Service, you may be interested to know that you can link your child's Little Bucks account to your own Internet Banking client number.
Alternatively, children can apply for their own Internet Banking client number.
Free Little Bucks Money Box
Little Bucks account members will receive a Little Bucks moneybox that will help encourage your child to save. These moneyboxes are replaced for free every time the moneybox is brought in full of money.
Anyone under 18 can open a Greater Little Bucks savings account, but you'll need mum, dad or a guardian to come in with you.
