Step 1

Choose Your Destination

As you look through, you will see accommodation Australia wide, tours and International packages. Don’t forget to have a look at the great rates for car hire that your Triangle Reward Points can get you!

Each hotel and package has a short description, a guide to facilities offered and a Triangle Reward Points rating to help you select your free Greater Getaway!


Step 2

Get the Facts

You will see that Triangle Reward Points ratings are shown on a per room basis and reflect twin share, single and triple occupancy. Above the rating box, you will also see the lead-in room type, bedding configuration*, number of children allowed to share with two adults and any unavailable dates.

Many of the hotels and resorts have higher room categories available. Please ask at the time of placing your booking request. The Triangle Reward Points ratings shown are per night unless otherwise specified. Where possible all surcharges are indicated in the Directory, however some seasonal surcharges and special event dates were not available at the time of printing. If applicable, these surcharges will be communicated to you by the Greater Getaways Travel Consultant at the time of booking.

Keep a look out for special inclusions as well! You will find these above the ratings box and they may make your Triangle Reward Points go even further. *Please consider bedding configuration as a guide only. If you have any particular bedding requests, check with the Greater Getaways Travel Consultant at the time of confirming your accommodation.


Step 3

Making Your Reservation

  1. Choose your Greater Getaway. Allow at least 7 working days between requesting your accommodation and the first date of travel and 14 working days if booking international accommodation.

  2. Mail or fax your fully completed Greater Getaways Booking Request Form to:

OR Make your booking request online by selecting your Greater Getaway, completing the Booking Request form and clicking on the Book Now button. (Please note that this is a request only and a Greater Getaway travel consultant will contact you to confirm your booking).

OR Telephone our Greater Getaways Travel Consultants on 1300 656 556. Please have all your booking information at hand, such as where you wish to stay, the date of your stay and for how many people. You will also need to specify at this time if there are any special requirements you need such as a particular bedding configuration, additional beds, disabled access or if you are a honeymooner.

  1. Once your booking request has been placed, it will be processed within 72 hours and a Greater Getaways Travel Consultant will contact you to inform you of your reservation details. Please note that all bookings are subject to availability at the time of placing your request. Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive your travel documents via email (E-documentation) and if you do not have access to email, the E-documentation will be sent by normal post.

  2. Note: cancellation and alteration charges apply, so please book carefully.


Property Star Ratings

Star Ratings are supplied by the properties themselves and are based on the official AAA Star ratings accommodation classification scheme operated by AAA Tourism for motel, apartment and hotel rating guides. A full breakdown of Star Rating definitions is in FAQ’s.

The Greater Building Society and its partners in the Greater Getaways program, Hunter Travel Group Pty Ltd, are not involved in the assessment of the participating properties for the purpose of assigning a rating
