Close contest in the Coca Cola/Greater Building Society Shortland Waters Pro Am

Our Partnerships Manager and self confessed golf nut Steve Goverd said it was a very close contest in the Shortland Water’s Golf Pro Am. What a tight contest it was at Shortland Waters Golf Club yesterday. We had two tied for first place, two tied for third and two tied for fifth. New South Welshmen Rudolph Bezuidenhout and Neil Sarkies took out the tournament with a three under par round of 68. Victorian Daniel M Griffin and Matthew Millar , from the ACT, tied for third only one shot behind the leaders to finish two under. Defending champion Brad McIntosh finished equal seventh with a par round.

The Greater Building Society was proud to partner with Coca Cola to support this Pro Am Golf tournament. We are also looking forward to the Greater Building Society Lake Macquarie Men’s and Ladies’ Amateur Championships in January at Belmont.

All the results are here.

My colleagues John Bailey and Rob Lavell took out 1st and 2nd placings in the sponsors event but I came up empty myself. Please share your golfing tips below. I need all the help I can get.
