Our Nelson Bay branch manager Kathryn Rimmer says she has lovely customers who even nominate her staff for awards. Now that is great customer feedback.
At The Greater, we love getting feedback from our customers about the things we are doing well and if there is anything we can do to improve our service. One of our long-time customers and Rotarian, Greg Flux, gave my Customer Service Officer Marsha Wright the best form of feedback possible. He nominated her for a Rotary Pride of Workmanship Award.
The aim of these Rotary awards is to recognise and reward local employees with a Do it Once, Do it Well attitude. At The Greater we do take pride in our service to our customers and commend Rotary for taking the time to recognise pride in workmanship.
Here is Greg’s citation for the Award.
“We have banked with the Greater since the early 1980s and so from when a very young Marsha started there in 1996 we have been able to observe her progress in that business. Marsha always has a smile and a kind word for all her customers. You feel as though your day has been lifted after a visit to the Greater. Marsha takes an interest in all her customers and could probably recite all the children, grandchildren and other relatives of each customer. I have observed Marsha assisting customers in variety of interest, such as travel arrangements, money exchanges overseas and for tourist where places of interest are. She does this all while processing your account in quick time and very efficiently. She is a team player and it easy to observe that she relates to her fellow workers (maybe even the boss!)”
I can confirm that Marsha relates very well to me and we are great team mates. Thank you again Greg and congratulations Marsha from your workmates at the The Greater’s Nelson Bay branch. This award is very well deserved.
