Shellharbour Branch wins Community Involvement Award

Our Shellharbour branch manager Craig Mowbray is very excited that his team won the Stocklands Shellharbour 2012 Community Involvement Award on Tuesday night.

My team and I had a great time at Stockland Shellharbour's 2012 Retailer awards.

It was made even better when we learned that we had won the 2012 Award for Community Involvement, one of three blue ribbon awards handed out on the night. This Award goes to my great team who give our customers the very best possible service and take the time to give back to the community that we are proud to be a part of.

We were acknowledged for:

• our involvement in Stockland's promotions and community events • standing out as making a difference in the community with local events and fundraising which in turns adds value to the Stockland's brand • giving back to the community within Shellharbour and the Illawarra region through our support of Kidzwish Foundation.

The Greater has been at Stockland Shellharbour since 2003 and we love being part of the Stockland community. It is exciting to be part of the centre, which is currently undergoing a $350 million refurbishment. When it is complete it I think it will be the largest Stockland centre in Australia.

The Awards night had a 1920’s Slappers and Gangsters theme. To top the night off, I won Best Dressed male. I have been copping a bit of a ribbing from everyone about that today including from our CEO. I thought I looked pretty good. What do you think?
