A Greater way of banking online is here

Over the past 18 months, we’ve noticed that a larger number of our customers than ever are turning to the online world to get their banking done. So we decided to turn our attention to our website, and how we could improve your online experience so you’re able to enjoy the same great service we’re known for, at a time and place, and on a device that suits you.

We’re thrilled to unveil to our new website which is the culmination of a huge amount of research and hard work, of which we’re very proud. This process included asking our customers directly what they wanted from us in a digital sense, in the form of workshops and rounds of testing. Based on what you told us, we hope you love what we've done with the place.

You’ll notice a quite visible difference from our old site. You’ll still have access to all the features and functionality you’ve come to love, including Internet Banking and our Branch and ATM locator, but we’ve made a number of key improvements to the site overall.  The look of the new site reflects who we are at The Greater – it’s welcoming and genuine, and a little bit colourful. We’ve also made it easier for you to get around, with improved navigation and search functionality.

We also decided to break from the crowd when it came to our website, and ditch the ‘bank-speak’. You’ll find nothing but plain English on the new site, which we think makes sense. After all, when it comes to your money, you want information that is as simple and as easy to understand as possible, right?

As well as this, we’ve left the choice up to you when it comes to how you prefer to start a banking conversation with us online. If you prefer to compare features and rates, you’ll find all the same helpful information about our fantastic range of products and services. However, if you feel like you could do with a little help and advice reaching one or more of your financial goals, you’ll love our new section called How we can help. We break down complex financial concepts into simple steps and give you the useful tools to get what you want sooner.

Finally, the thing we think you’ll love most about our new website, is that it provides the same great experience across any device. Whether you’re on a desktop PC, a tablet or a mobile, you’ll have total access – no more watered down mobile site, no more having to pinch and zoom on your touch-devices. As one of the first financial institutions in the country to make the switch to Responsive Design, we think you’ll love the convenience of choice this provides.

Put simply, we’re over the moon to finally be able to show off what we’ve been working on. We’ve done our very best to take everything you loved about our old website and only add features we think will provide you with a Greater way of banking.
