When it comes to selecting household providers, nothing is more valuable than word of mouth. That’s why every year, we ask everyday Australians to tell us what they really think about their bank in our Mozo People’s Choice Awards.
It’s not only an opportunity for the Mozo’s expert judges to take a step back, but to shine a light on the providers who excel in their field and do right by their customers. So it gives me great pleasure to announce that Greater Bank is proudly taking home three 2020 Mozo People’s Choice Awards.
The mutual bank was among 140 banks included in the survey, which asked more than 3,000 Australians to rank their bank in a number of categories.
Greater Bank received an award for Outstanding Customer Satisfaction, Excellent Customer Service and for being Highly Trusted, a factor that’s arguably essential to many.
In fact, a survey by Essential Media in 2018 found that almost half of Australians (47%) have less trust in major banks, while 17% felt greater trust in mutual banks.
These findings may have come as a response to the Banking Royal Commission in 2018, as more Australians find it difficult to turn to the big four banks for everyday financial services.
These three awards are meaningful in this context, showing that Australians generally believe Greater Bank is a provider of great value products, whether that’s a competitive home loan rate or top-notch savings account, and also operate with a customer-focused attitude.
