North Coast lending manager named Greater’s Employee of the Year

A Northern Rivers lending manager, Michael Clement, has today been announced The Greater Building Society’s Employee of the Year for 2014.
Mr Clement was born and bred in the Northern Rivers. The 50 year old father of two now lives in Alstonville. He has worked for The Greater for 20 years, having been the Lismore branch manager for 16 years before taking up his current position in 2011. He looks after the home loans and personal loans for customers in Ballina and Casino.

He said he was humbled to receive this recognition from peers and customers.

“I really enjoy my job and am passionate about helping customers to realise their dream of owning a home, but it feels great to know people appreciate it,” Mr Clement said.

Greater CEO Scott Morgan said Mr Clement took out the award after receiving several nominations for going above and beyond for customers.

“Our outstanding customer satisfaction is due to our significant investment in selecting and training great people such as Michael who always go above and beyond to help customers realise their dream of a home, car or boat,” Mr Morgan said.

“The Award is one part of The Greater’s staff reward and recognition program to show our staff they are appreciated,” he said.

The award is open to all of The Greater’s 800 employees. A winner is announced each quarter. Those winners compete for the overall Award.
The Greater Building Society provides home loans and other banking services to around half a million customers across NSW and the Gold Coast. Its North Coast branches are in Ballina, Lismore, Casino and Tweed Heads.
