Greater congratulates 2015 Hunter Business Awards' finalists

The Greater Building Society today congratulated the finalists in the 2015 Hunter Business Awards.

More than 70 organisations and individuals will compete for awards across ten categories. The Greater is the sponsor of the Customer Service Award for small businesses (less than 20 employees) for the third year. It has sponsored this award since its inception.

Greater Building Society Head of Marketing and Distribution Matt Hingston congratulated all the finalists, particularly the ones competing in The Greater sponsored award.

Mr Hingston said providing outstanding customer service is vitally important to successful businesses. He said customer service was one way The Greater distinguished itself from the major banks. The Greater has won a national Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award in 2014 and 2015 with satisfaction levels as high as 97 per cent. It was also the winner of the 2012 Hunter Business Award for Customer Service.

“As a customer owned banking organisation, providing outstanding customer service is at the heart of what we do,” Mr Hingston said.

Mr Hingston congratulated the Hunter Business Chamber for putting on such a prestigious and premier awards event.

He said The Greater wanted to support the Chamber in its efforts to recognise excellence in Hunter business.

“As one of the Hunter’s leading organisations, we want to support and recognise outstanding businesses and organisations that are central to our great region’s economy and community,” he said.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner at Wests New Lambton on Friday August 7.Tickets may be purchased here.
