Greater Award recognises enterprising New England woman

The enterprising efforts of a New England beauty consultant have been recognised by the local business community thanks to the Greater Building Society.

Independent Mary Kay Beauty Consultant Christine Fittler took out the Greater Building Society New England Enterprising Woman of 2015 at the gala Armidale Business Chamber Awards on August 14. Ms Fittler beat other finalists Annie Keoghan, Bron Pearson, Ingrid Rothe and Vicki Kembery.

The award was one of  23 awards handed out in 14 categories. Other winners included Business of the Year, Whitehack.

Greater Building Society Armidale Branch Manager Wendy Ng and Branch Supervisor Jason Quast were at the awards to make the presentation and congratulate Christine.

Wendy said sponsoring this award, as well as the Chamber’s Enterprising Women’s Breakfast Series, were some of the ways The Greater is supporting and recognising women in New England.

“We’re also helping women and girls to benefit from participating in netball through our support for local netball associations across regional NSW,” Wendy said.

“Most importantly, we are here to help women (and men) to better manage their money and buy their dream home with straightforward, customer owned,  banking services,” she said.
