The Expression of Interest (EOI) form for the Greater Charitable Foundation’s 2020 funding round is now available.
This year’s funding round is expected to take the Foundation’s financial commitment to charitable groups across NSW and South-East Queensland close to the $10 million mark since its establishment in 2011.
Charities that are working to improve the life outcomes of families and communities are encouraged to start working on their Expression of Interest now in readiness for the opening of the 2020 funding round at 9am (AEDT) on Friday 6 March 2020. Applications then close at 12 midday (noon) Friday 3 April 2020
Greater Charitable Foundation Chief Executive Officer, Anne Long, said that making the Expression of Interest form available early allows charity groups to get a head start on the application process.
“We know that many not-for-profits are stretched for resources and time, often having to rely on volunteer help to apply for funding programs. As a result, we want to provide eligible charity groups with as much time as possible to prepare their submission prior to the April deadline." | Anne Long, GCF CEO.
“In 2020 we are looking to partner with organisations that are working to improve life outcomes and deliver long-lasting change in our communities.”
This year eligible charities wishing to apply for the 2020 NSW & SE QLD Funding Round may apply for a minimum grant allocation of $30,000 (available for 12-months) and up to a maximum of $250,000 (allocated across a period of up to two to three years) for individual project.
Since its establishment, the Foundation has allocated more than $9 million to 31 charitable organisations, impacting more than 32,000 beneficiaries.
