Community Match

The Greater Bank Community Match has become an important part of the A-League and W-League seasons that encourages families to come along to the match and experience more than just the game. Prior to each match a family fun fair is held in the stadium precinct and kids get to enjoy some free fun activities before going to watch their heroes play. Greater Bank loves hosting special pre-game activities for our loyal Newcastle Jets supporters.

Check out all the fun and excitement from this season’s A-League and W-League Community Matches.

Kids Go Free!

To inspire the next generation of young athletes, kids need access to their sporting heroes. So this one was a no-brainer for us:

The kids go FREE *. It’s as simple as that! Simply collect their ticket from the Greater Bank marquee out the front of No 2 Sportsground.

*16 years and under. Must be accompanied by an adult. Limited to 2 kids per adult.

You could WIN $1,000 just by coming to the match*

We know how important a big home crowd is in helping our W-League girls bring their best game. That's why we're encouraging all of Newcastle to attend their final home game of the season by giving away $1,000 pre-loaded in a Greater Bank account to one lucky fan at the match.

Collect your raffle ticket upon entering the grounds from one of our friendly Greater Bank volunteers and make sure you listen out for the draw at half-time. It's that simple!

Let’s get behind our girls in their final home game of the season.

Partnering with Healthy Youngsters, Healthy Dads

At the Greater Bank Community Match we highlight the fantastic work of one of our Greater Charitable Foundation partners. This season we are proud to support and promote the work of Healthy Youngsters, Healthy Dads. HYHD is a world-first program targeting fathers and their preschool-aged children to improve family physical activity and nutrition.

HYHD will be at the match to talk about how their program teaches fathers effective parenting skills for role modelling a healthy lifestyle to optimise the health and wellbeing of their kids. They'll also run some on-field demonstrations of the types of activities they teach in the program.

Watch the video to learn more about this incredible program.
