$11,000 raised by Greater sponsored Film Festival for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Greater Bank staff were happy to present a cheque to the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association of New South Wales this morning as a result of money raised from the Italian Film Festival late last year.

Italian Film Festival organiser, Nick Moretti along with a number of Newcastle business representatives gathered at The Greater's Head Office for the cheque presentation which will see $11,000 injected into the MND Association's programs.

Kim Sinclair from the MND Association said the funds would be used to continue the organisation's vital programs in our area.

"Thank you so much to all involved in raising the money from the Film Festival. The Motor Neurone Disease Association relies heavily on community funding and we couldn't exist without your support," Ms Sinclair said.

Festival organiser, Nick Moretti also spoke at the presentation, thanking local business partners for their support and his fellow festival organiser and cofounder, Dino Cesta.

Greater Bank has proudly supported the Italian Film Festival since its inception, contributing each year to assist with running costs and promotion of the event. The event is expected to continue this year in November.
