At Greater Bank, being customer owned means we're able to use our profits to make the communities we call home stronger. We live and work in the same streets and suburbs as you do, which is why we are helping to bring locals together and celebrate life where we live. With more than 30,000 people in attendance and 120 vibrant specialty stalls and local businesses on show, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate all that the Wallsend community has to offer.

Visit Wallsend Winter Fair to WIN!

Wallsend Winter Fair aims to bring locals together to celebrate their local community, and to support small business, community groups, schools and more. With a list of entertainment and things to do at Wallsend Winter Fair as long as your arm, you shouldn't need any extra motivation to attend, but in the name of fun, we are giving locals the chance to take home $1,000 just by exploring the Fair precinct and local businesses. Here's how it will happen:

Head to Wallsend Winter Fair

Find the Greater Bank information stand on the corner of Tyrell and Nelson streets and collect an entry form.

Find and Seek

Explore the Wallsend Winter Fair precinct to find the three (3) Greater Bank mini cheques. Once you've found them, all you need to do is record their location on your entry form.

 

Submit your entry

Once you've found all three cheques, it is as simple as popping your details on the entry form and returning it to the Greater Bank information stand to go in the running.

Congratulations to the Smith's! As Major Event Sponsor of Wallsend Winter Fair, we wanted to make this fantastic community event extra special for one lucky local. So, we offerred Fair-goers the chance to win $1,000 just by exploring the event precinct and checking out local businesses. Greater Bank is proud to be the event sponsor of Wallsend Winter Fair for the third year in a row. Wallsend Winter Fair is one of Newcastle’s largest FREE street events attended by over 30,000 people. The day features a full program of entertainment across 3 stages, plus over 130 market stalls including food vendors, family amusement rides, show bags, demonstrations, street performers and much, much more. Greater Bank staff volunteers will be helping patrons by manning the information tent and providing information and assistance throughout the event. Plus, be sure to take part in our $1,000 Cash Giveaway!
