1. This Online Cashback Offer (“Offer”) is provided by Greater Bank, part of Newcastle Greater Mutual Group Ltd (NGM Group) ACN 087 651 992 AFSL/Australian credit licence 238273, of 307 King Street Newcastle West NSW 2302.
2. This Offer commences 23 June 2025 and will remain open until withdrawn (“Offer Period”).
3. This Offer is open only to Australian permanent residents aged 18 years and over (“Eligible borrower”).
4. Participating in the Offer is automatic and constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
5. Under the Offer, a payment (“Online Cashback”) will be paid to the Eligible borrower where all the following conditions are met:
a) An Eligible loan application is submitted through Greater Bank’s Digital Home Loan application channel during the Offer Period (“Eligible loan”), including:
i. The completion of digital verification of identity, and
ii. Agreeing to the digital collection of your expense, income and liability information through our partner, illion Australia Pty Ltd, and
b) The loan applied for is approved and funded within the validity period of the loan offer.
6. The Online Cashback payment amount is:
a) $2,500 if the loan amount is between $250,000 and $499,999.99; or
b) $3,000 if the loan amount is $500,000 or more.
7. To be considered an Eligible loan, all of the following criteria must be met:
a) The loan purpose is purchasing or refinancing a residentially secured home loan from another financial institution (excluding refinances from Newcastle Permanent, part of NGM Group);
b) The loan has a Loan to Value Ratio (“LVR”) less than or equal to 80%;
c) The loan repayment type is Principal & Interest, or for Investment home loans, Principal & Interest or Interest Only; and
d) The loan results in new borrowings with Greater Bank of:
i. $250,000 - $499,999.99 to be eligible for $2,500 or;
ii. $500,000 or more to be eligible for $3,000.
8. To meet eligibility to submit an online home loan application to Greater Bank, all of the following conditions must be met in respect of borrowers:
a) no more than two (2) borrowers;
b) all borrowers must be aged 18 years or older;
c) all borrowers must be an Australian permanent resident;
d) borrower/s must earn PAYG income;
e) joint borrowers must be married or in a de facto relationship, and live together at the same residential address;
f) borrower/s must not apply with a guarantor;
g) each borrower must have a satisfactory credit report; and
h) each borrower must be listed on the property title or for a new property purchase, will be listed on the property title.
9. Where there are joint borrowers applying for a residentially secured home loan, only one Online Cashback will be paid per Eligible loan, irrespective of the number of joint borrowers.
10. A borrower is eligible for an Online Cashback only once during the Offer Period. Once a loan application that is eligible for an Online Cashback is received, no further loans which include that borrower – jointly or individually – will be eligible for an Online Cashback.
11. Only one home loan cashback offer is available within a 12-month period. The borrower must not have previously successfully redeemed a NGM Group home loan cashback offer, jointly or individually, within the 12-month period prior to submitting an Eligible loan application.
12. Loans that receive an Online Cashback are not eligible for any other Greater Bank promotional payments (including any other cashback payment that would otherwise be available), with the exception of any interest rate discount offered.
13. A borrower’s loan application in conjunction with this Offer will be subject to Greater Bank’s usual credit assessment and approval processes.
14. Fees and charges apply to Greater Bank loans to which this Offer applies. Refer to our Home, Personal and Business Loan Fees and Charges Flyer or your Home Loan Agreement for details.
15. The Online Cashback will not be made in “cash” (i.e. notes and/or coin) or cheque. Payment will be deposited to a Greater Bank eligible deposit account within 60 days of the loan settlement date. The borrower(s) must hold an open Greater Bank eligible deposit account in the same name(s) as the Eligible loan as at the date the Online Cashback payment is made to be eligible to receive the Online Cashback. If the loan is closed or paid out before the Online Cashback payment is due to be made, the loan will no longer be eligible for the Online Cashback.
16. Eligible deposit account does not include a term deposit or loan product. Where the borrower(s) has more than one eligible deposit account, Greater Bank will determine which account will receive the Online Cashback. The borrower(s) cannot nominate which account will receive the Online Cashback.
17. Greater Bank reserves the right to refuse payment of an account credit to any individual involved in any way in interfering or undermining the intended operation of the Offer.
18. A borrower cannot transfer or assign their right to the Offer to any other person.
19. Greater Bank accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Offer. The borrower/s should seek their own independent advice in this regard.
20. Greater Bank reserves the right to, at any time, withdraw or extend the Offer or otherwise vary these terms and conditions.
