Deposit and Credit Accounts

The terms and conditions for Deposit and Credit Accounts are called the Banking Terms and Conditions and comprise the Banking General Terms and Conditions and the relevant Product Schedule(s). You’ll also need to read other documents to understand all the terms and conditions that apply, including current interest rates on accounts and, for a loan or other credit facility with us, the terms and conditions of the loan contract or credit contract.

Upcoming changes to our banking, access and payment facility and loan and credit facility terms and conditions

We are making changes to our Banking General Terms and Conditions and Product Schedules, our access and payment facility terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of loan and/or credit (including credit card) contracts with us. A notice of these changes will be included in your June statement. It is also available here.

The Banking General Terms and Conditions are provided below. They detail (among other things) general terms and conditions that apply to all accounts with us and the use of access methods and payment facilities that may be available with an account. The access methods and payment facilities that are available with an account are set out in the Product Schedule for the account. If you have a passbook or BPAY Biller Facility, Merchant EFTPOS Facility/ Greater Bank Direct Debit User Facility or use Apple Pay, Google Pay or the Osko and PayID service with us, additional terms and conditions apply and are provided below:

The Product Schedule for an account includes additional product-specific terms and conditions that apply to the account, including (among other things) eligibility requirements, operating conditions, limits, fees, charges and interest rates applying to the account and any minimum balance required. The Product Schedules form part of the Banking Terms and Conditions. If you have a loan or other credit facility with us, additional credit fees and charges that may be payable in respect of your loan or credit facility and the interest payable on your loan or credit facility are set out or described in your loan contract or credit contract.

Privacy Act declaration - Application for credit

If you're looking to apply for Credit with Greater Bank, you may be asked to complete a Privacy Act Declaration - Application for Credit/Request for Information form.

Foreign tax declaration forms

If you're in the process of opening an account with Greater Bank online and have been directed to this page, unfortunately, you will not be able to complete the account opening process online. Your next steps are to download and complete the relevant Foreign Tax Residency (Individual) Self-Certification Form below, and get in touch with our Service Centre on 1300 651 400 (from within Australia) or on +612 4921 9111 (internationally).

Greater rollover and allocated pension fund

All trustees of superannuation funds have a legal responsibility to make certain documents and disclosures available. Equity Trustees Superannuation Limited as trustee of the Greater Rollover and Allocated Pension Fund, a sub-fund of the CUBS Superannuation Fund RSE number R1068832, has elected to make these items available from this website and details of each disclosure or links to the relevant documents are provided below.

Significant Event Notice is issued by the Trustee. This SEN was distributed to members to alert them to the fact that The Trustee had determined to set up an Operational Risk Financial Requirement Reserve (ORFR) to protect members' interests should an operational failure occur that may result in losses to a fund or its members.

The Greater Rollover and Allocated Pension Fund are now closed to new customers.

The Greater Rollover Fund and the Greater Allocated Pension Fund are sub-funds of the CUBS Superannuation Fund (CUBS RSE Number: R1068832).

Greater Bank has outsourced the administration of the Greater Rollover and Allocated Pension Funds to Mainstream Superannuation Services Pty Ltd.
