Netball Academies we support

The Hunter Academy gives young athletes across Newcastle and the Hunter Region access to world-class training close to home.

The netball talent development program supports the Netball NSW Athlete Pathway by identifying, monitoring and developing emerging players through on-court training, fitness, and athlete education based on Netball Australia’s Develop a Diamond framework.

Taking a holistic approach, the program recognises athletes need more than sporting skills. Greater Bank proudly supports participants with financial education and assistance.

The Central Coast Academy develops netballers from across the region through Netball Australia’s Develop a Diamond Academy program, offering individual skill growth and a pathway to state and national selection.

Beyond athlete development, the program also educates local coaches and umpires under Netball NSW guidelines. Drawing talent from three local associations, it delivers advanced training and youth leadership education, preparing players for higher honours and shaping them into well-rounded athletes and leaders on and off the court.

The Western Region Academy’s program bridges the gap between local representative netball and elite pathways like the NSW state team. Through high-performance coaching and training, athletes enhance their skills and prepare for higher honours.

Endorsed by Netball NSW, the WRAS Greater Bank Netball Program helps talented netballers grow both on and off the court within Netball Australia’s Develop a Diamond framework.

Led by head coach Linda Macleod, the squad unites 30 athletes from across the Central West, including Bathurst, Narromine, Mudgee, Parkes, Lidster, Dubbo and Forbes.
