When Greater Bank customer, Claudia Radnidge, received a call from her local branch asking if she could drop in to chat with the manager, she thought there may have been an issue with one of her accounts.
Concern quickly turned to delight when she was told that not only were her accounts fine, but she had in fact won a brand-new Hyundai Venue Active with Comprehensive Motor Insurance.
The 24-year-old from Cessnock was the winner of a recent Greater Bank promotion that gave customers the chance to win the car simply by taking out a new Allianz Home & Contents, Landlord or Comprehensive Motor Insurance policy through the bank.
After recently purchasing a new car, Claudia discussed insurance options with her branch manager and decided to take out the Allianz policy. Little did she know that she would soon be the owner of a second new car.
“When they told me that I’d won the new Hyundai Venue Active, I didn’t actually believe them. I don’t think I said a word for a minute or so!”
Claudia, who opened her first Greater Bank account when she was a teenager, will receive her prize in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, she will have to decide what to do with it.
“I’ve just purchased a new car, which was very exciting, but soon I’ll have two new cars in the driveway. I’m not too sure what I’ll do just yet but it’s not a bad problem to have,” Claudia said.
