Banking made greater this holiday season

With 2021 almost run and done, we're all looking forward to a restful and rejuvenating holiday season.

Here's how to avoid any hassle when it comes to your money.

Scheduled Payments

Due to the way the Christmas and New Years public hoildays are structured this year, please note the below information concerning your scheduled payments over the holiday period:

  • Christmas: If you have payments scheduled for Saturday, December 25 (Christmas Day) – Tuesday, December 28 (inclusive), you'll need to ensure your designated account is funded for these payments on Friday, December 24 (Christmas Eve).
  • New Years: If you have payments scheduled for Saturday, January 1 (New Year's Day) – Monday, January 3 (inclusive), you'll need to ensure your designated account is funded for these payments on Friday, December 31 (New Year's Eve).

Don't forget - if you'd prefer to bank online during the holiday season, you can do so around the clock via online banking or our award-winning app

Scheduled Maintenance

There is no maintenance scheduled over the Christmas and New Year's holiday period.

If you encounter any issues accessing your money through our online banking or app, please let us know on 13 13 86, or via Facebook Messenger.

Whether you're braving the stores in the lead-up to Christmas, meeting friends for catch-up drinks or shopping online at participating retailers, our range of Mobile Wallets make payments easier. If you haven't set up your Greater Bank card for Apple Pay or Google Pay payments, there's never been a better time.
