End date: Thursday 4 February 2027 at 11.59pm, AEDT

Entry Period means, for each Match, the period commencing at the Entries Open time and ending at the Entries Close time specified for that Match in Table 1: Match Entry Periods and Draw Details (Table 1). 

How to enter

The Promotion comprises sixteen (16) separate Entry Periods, one for each Match listed in the Table 1 below.

To enter  in relation to a Match, an Eligible Entrant must, during the applicable Entry Period:

  1. access the online Entry Form by scanning the QR code displayed on promotional signage or screens at the relevant Match, or through another entry link made available by the Promoter;
  2. complete and submit the Entry Form, including their first name, last name, email address and contact telephone number; and
  3. submit the Entry Form before the applicable Entries Close time shown in Table 1: Match Entry Periods and Draw Details.

An entry submitted for one Match does not carry over to any other Match. Entrants must submit a separate Entry Form during the applicable Entry Period if they wish to enter in relation to another Match.

Only entries received during the Entry Period for the relevant Match will be included in the draw for that Match. Incomplete, automated or incomprehensible entries are invalid.

Eligible entrants

Entry is open to individuals aged 14 years or over, who are residents of NSW or QLD.

Employees, officers, contractors and agents of the Promoter are not eligible to enter.

Business or non-individual entity customers and employees and officers of the Promoter, Illawarra Basketball Club Pty Ltd, or National Basketball League Pty Ltd (NBL) are also not eligible to enter.

Previous winners of a prize in this Promotion are not eligible to enter in relation to any subsequent Match. .

Maximum number of entries permitted

There is a limit of one valid entry per Eligible Entrant for each Match. An Eligible Entrant may enter more than one Match but must submit a new Entry Form during the applicable Entry Period for each Match.

If an Eligible Entrant submits more than one Entry Form for the same Match, only their first valid entry will be accepted.  

Prizes and prize value

There are sixteen (16) prizes to be awarded across the promotional period, consisting of a $500 maximum cash payment for each Match. The maximum total prize pool value is $8,000 AUD.

$5 will be awarded for each point the Illawarra Hawks score each Match, capped at $500 AUD.

For example - if the Hawks score at full time is 80, the winner will receive $400, if the Hawks score at full time is 100, the winner will receive $500. If the Hawks score at game end is over 100, the winner will receive the maximum prize of $500.

The payment will be made by electronic transfer by the Promoter to the winner’s nominated bank account.

An entrant can win a maximum of one prize during the promotion period. No bonus prizes will be awarded.

Prize draw

The draw for each Match will take place on the date specified in Table 1 below.

The winner will be selected by a fair and random electronic draw. Each valid entry included in the relevant draw has an equal chance of winning.

The Promoter will keep records of the draw and share information with regulators if required.

The draw will take place at 11:00am AEDT at Greater Bank, 103 Tudor St Hamilton NSW 2303; 307 King St Newcastle West NSW 2302; or remotely.

 If the draw is scheduled on a non-business day, the draw will be conducted on the following business day. An additional two (2) entries will be chosen at the same time and place as the original draw, as reserve winners in the event the prize is not claimed in accordance with these conditions.

Winner notification

The Promoter will attempt to notify the winner by SMS, email or telephone within 2 days of the draw. If the winner is notified by telephone, they will also receive written notification within 7 days of the draw.

The winners’ names will not be published on our website to respect privacy.

Prize claim period

The prize winner must claim their prize within 14 business days of being notified by confirming receipt of the notification and providing the Promoter with their nominated bank account details.

The prize will be paid into the winner’s nominated bank account within 5 business days of the prize being claimed.

 Redetermination of winners

If a prize winner is not eligible to receive the prize, cannot be contacted, does not claim the prize, or returns the prize, they will be taken to have forfeited the prize. The Promoter will then award the prize to the next reserve winner drawn. If the reserve winner does not claim the prize, the same process will be applied again until the prize has been claimed.

 Feedback, complaints and dispute resolution

Disputes or queries about the conduct of this Promotion or the claiming of a prize can be raised by contacting Greater Bank by phone on 13 13 86, by email at customervoice@greater.com.au, online at greater.com.au, by post, or in person by visiting a branch.

Greater Bank aims to resolve complaints on the spot wherever possible. If a complaint cannot be resolved on first contact, Greater Bank will acknowledge that the complaint has been lodged and provide a reference number and contact details for follow-up. If the complaint cannot be resolved on the spot, Greater Bank aims to resolve it within 5 business days.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions. Participating in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, including the Schedule. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
  2. It is a condition of accepting the prize that a winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize requirements. This includes NBL Terms of Admission and any Conditions of Entry applicable for the Match location. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
  3. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the cancellation or delay of any basketball Match connected with this Promotion for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter. If a Match is postponed, abandoned, relocated or cancelled, the Promoter may adjust the applicable Entry Period or draw date, conduct the draw using valid entries already received, transfer valid entries to the rescheduled Match, or cancel the relevant Match Entry Period, subject to applicable law and any required regulatory approval. Any material change will be published on the Promoter’s website.
  4. Although there are no anticipated direct costs relating to receiving a prize, any taxes, excluding GST, that may be payable because of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner should seek independent financial advice about any taxes relating to a prize.
  5. If a prize is returned for any reason, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, redistribute the returned prize.
  6. If a prize winner or reserve winner is unable to be awarded their prize, they forfeit that prize and it may be withdrawn unawarded. If a prize winner or reserve winner cannot be found, this result will be published on the Promoter’s website.
  7. Prizes are not variable or transferable. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if they are illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
  8. If any prize, or part of any prize, becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute the prize, or the relevant part of the prize, with a prize of equal or greater value.
  9. The Promoter and its related entities are not liable for any impairment, defect, performance issue or other characteristic or aspect of any prize, or for any loss, damage or injury suffered to person or property, even if caused by negligence, in connection with the competition or as a result of accepting or using a prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  10. If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, vandalism, power failures, tempest, natural disasters, acts of god or nature, civil unrest, strikes or any other cause beyond the Promoter’s control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may, to the extent permitted by law, cancel, modify or postpone the competition.
  11. The Promoter may request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this competition. Verification is at the Promoter’s discretion, and the Promoter’s decision is final.
  12. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who is involved in any way in interfering with or tampering with the conduct of this competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  13. By entering this competition, all entrants warrant that they have provided their consent to the use of their personal information as described. If entrants do not provide the requested personal information for this competition, the Promoter may not be able to enter the entrant into the competition, or the entrant may not be able to claim the prize.
  14. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice if they are a winner, in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration, for the purpose of promoting this competition, including any outcome, and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  15. The personal information provided will be used by Greater Bank in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Entrants may opt out of the future use of their personal information by the Promoter, access, change or update their personal information, or obtain a copy of the Promoter’s Privacy and Credit Reporting Policy by contacting the Promoter or visiting greater.com.au/privacy-policy.
  16. Facebook, Instagram or any other form of social media may be used to advertise or promote the Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, individuals agree that the Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram, and to completely release Facebook and Instagram from any and all liability relating to the Promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to the Promoter and not Facebook, Instagram, or other social media provider.
