Who can open a savings account online?
Anyone can open a Greater Bank Bonus Saver or Term Deposit Account online provided that you:

Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident aged 18 years or older;

Have an Australian residential address
You can open a Life Saver Account online provided you meet the above criteria, and are also under the age of 25.
To open a Life Saver Account under the age of 16, visit our friendly staff at your local branch.
Account terms, conditions, fees and charges apply. Must be under 25 to open. To qualify for interest, your closing balance must be higher than the opening balance (excluding any interest earned) for the calendar month.
