Even though we can’t run together at the moment, Greater Bank are still proud supporters of helping people get healthy and active.

That's why we're thrilled to be on board with the Virtual Fernleigh 15 as part of The Greater Bank Fun Run Series.

The Virtual Fernleigh 15

The Fernleigh 15 will take on a new format in 2020 with an event that will keep the community active while supporting the mental health of people across the Hunter and beyond.

The Virtual Fernleigh 15 still gives you the opportunity to take on the Fernleigh Track and others in the community – in 2020 style. Register to run and complete the 15km track covering Adamstown to Belmont anytime in November 2020 or register a relay team of five and run 3km each.

So, what other perks do you get? 

Upload your result before the end of November to receive your finisher medal in the mail. Plus, all runners who complete the Fernleigh track will go into a draw to win one of six $100 Greater Bank account vouchers by uploading proof of time.*

Help Us Help Lifeline

The 2020 Virtual Fernleigh 15 has linked with charity partner Lifeline Hunter, a local organisation that operates a free 24-hour (13 11 14) Telephone Crisis Support line and provides a local no cost no referral face to face & video counselling service. Greater Bank will donate to Lifeline $1.00 per kilometre run by participants as part of the event up to $5000* and is also encouraging participants to raise funds for the charity that will support Lifeline’s services here in the Hunter. 

We know that 2020 has been a difficult year and that exercise is an important factor in managing mental health, which is why we’re passionate about bringing these two causes together.

Terms & Conditions – Lifeline Direct Donation Promotion

The promotion:

  1. Greater Bank Limited ABN 88 087 651 956 (Greater Bank) is the sole Promoter of this promotion.
  2. This promotion commences on 5:00am AEDT Sunday 1 November 2020 and closes on 11.59pm AEDT Monday 30 November 2020 (Promotion Period).
  3. This promotion is only available to Australian residents.
  4. Greater Bank accepts no responsibility for late, lost or incomplete entries.

Eligibility

  1. This promotion is open to Australian residents of any age.
  2. By taking part in the promotion you warrant that you meet the entry requirements and accept these terms and conditions.
  3. Any entrants who are under the age of 18 must receive parental or guardian consent to take part in the promotion and agree to these terms and conditions. This consent must be provided to Greater Bank in writing, upon request.

Redemption

  1. To take part in the promotion you must:
    1. Complete the 15km Fernleigh Track distance from Adamstown to Belmont or in reverse; or a 3km distance of the Fernleigh Track as part of a five-person relay team, during the Promotion Period;
    2. Use the Strava App to track your result
    3. Upload your result to the 2020 Virtual Fernleigh 15 Strava Group (https://www.strava.com/clubs/742447)
  2. You are responsible for any and all expenses that you may incur in entering this promotion. Greater Bank will not reimburse you for expenses incurred.

Privacy

  1. The personal information you provide will be used by Greater Bank in accordance with its Privacy Policy. For more information about how Greater Bank’s manages personal information, view Greater Bank’s Privacy Policy at www.greater.com.au
  2. Greater Bank may disclose the personal information you provide to its agents, solely to conduct the promotion and distribute the Reward.

Reward

  1. For each kilometre completed during the Promotion Period, Greater Bank will donate $1.00 to Lifeline Direct Ltd ABN 14618509818 (Reward).
  2. The reward is capped at $5,000.00 AUD.
  3. Total kilometres completed will be tracked using the Fernleigh 15 Strava Group.
  4. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion is affected for any reason, Greater Bank may in its sole discretion, subject to licencing authority approval, cancel, terminate, change or suspend the promotion. Greater Bank may disqualify anyone who tampers (or benefits from tampering) with the redemption process or the conduct of the promotion or who has, in Greater Bank’s reasonable opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of Greater Bank or has breached these Terms and Conditions.

  3. You are responsible for any and all expenses that you may incur in entering this competition. Greater Bank will not reimburse you for expenses incurred, regardless of whether or not you win the competition.

Prize

  3. The winners will be chosen by random computer-generated selection at Greater Bank, 103 Tudor Street Hamilton NSW at 10:00am, AEDT on Tuesday 1 December 2020.
  4. The winners will be notified by phone or email using the contact details provided with registration on Tuesday 1 December 2020.
  5. To claim the Prize you must acknowledge you will accept the prize via phone or email prior to 5:00pm AEDT Friday 4 December 2020.
  6. To redeem the Prize, you are required to attend any Greater Bank branch prior to 5:00pm AEDT Friday 18 December 2020. Any Winner who is not a current customer of Greater Bank will be required to open an account. You will be required to provide sufficient identification in branch in order to open an account. If the Winner is unable to provide identification as required, they will forego the Prize.
  7. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If you do not take a part of the Prize at the time set by Greater Bank, you will forfeit that part. If the advertised Prize is unavailable, Greater Bank will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
  8.     2. Post a photo of yourself completing the Virtual Fernleigh 15 Fun Run to Instagram using the hashtag #GreaterBankFunRun or Post to Greater Bank’s Facebook wall using #GreaterBankFunRun during the Competition Period.
  2. You will only be entered once, regardless of how many times you post during the Competition Period.
  3. You are responsible for any and all expenses that you may incur in entering this competition. Greater Bank will not reimburse you for expenses incurred, regardless of whether or not you win the competition.

  3. The winners will be the entrants who have posted the most creative selfie, judged at the absolute discretion of employees of the Greater Bank Marketing Department. The winner will be selected at Greater Bank, 103 Tudor Street Hamilton NSW at 10:00am AEDT on Tuesday 1 December 2020.
  4. The winners will be announced on or by 5:00pm Wednesday 2 December 2020 through Greater Bank’s social media accounts and will be notified by phone or email using the contact details provided with registration on Wednesday 2 December 2020.
  5. To claim the Prize you must provide a valid postal address where the prize can be posted. If the Prize is unclaimed by 5:00pm Friday 4 December 2020, the winner forfeits the prize and a new winner will be selected from remaining entrants at Greater Bank, 103 Tudor Street Hamilton NSW at midday on Monday 7 December 2020.
  6. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. If you do not take a part of the Prize at the time set by Greater Bank, you will forfeit that part. If the advertised Prize is unavailable, Greater Bank will substitute it for one of equal or greater value.
