A whole of netball approach

Greater Bank has been supporting netball for over 30 years.
Local Netball Associations

At the grassroots level we sponsor netball associations right across NSW – from Ballina to Shoalhaven, Newcastle to Tamworth, and everywhere in between.

Regional Academies of Sport

Our support of regional netball is also assisting some of the state’s brightest young netball stars on their representative journey through sponsorship of the Hunter, Central Coast and Western Region Academies of Sport netball programs. All three Academies give young athletes the opportunity to receive training of a world-class standard without the need to move or travel to a metropolitan centre. The netball development program plays a vital role in the Netball NSW Athlete Pathway by identifying, monitoring and developing the skills of young players.

ASPIRE Netball

Finally, Greater Bank is proud to be the major sponsor of the ASPIRE Netball program, founded and led by Giants Netballer, Sam Poolman. The ASPIRE program is a holistic development program that provides direct coaching from professional players and coaches and is designed to prepare young players for a career in elite netball, both mentally and physically. Sam mentors and inspires young athletes providing valuable insight into what it takes to make it in the world of professional netball.

Local Netball Associations

Regional netball associations are the backbone of netball in NSW, providing a space for amateurs and emerging athletes to improve their skills, stay healthy and have fun. That's why we throw our support behind as many as we can!

Academies of Sport

Greater Bank has been a long-term partner of sport in the Hunter and as our network has grown so has our support. We are now the major partner of three regional academies of sport in NSW.

ASPIRE Program with Sam Poolman

Greater Bank has joined forces with Giants Super Netballer and Hunter Academy of Sport graduate Sam Poolman to deliver the ASPIRE Netball program, aimed at helping young netballers navigate the pathway from amateur to professional.
