How do I notify Greater Bank if I’m planning to travel overseas?

How do I notify Greater Bank if I’m planning to travel overseas?

If you’re heading overseas, you can let us know of your travel plans ahead of time in a number of ways:

  1. Online. Simply log into our app or online banking, and head to Manage > Security & access > Overseas trave notification. We’ll ask for the dates you intend tom travel, which countries you’ll be headed to, and which of your cards you intend to use while away.

  2. Over the phone. Give us a call on 13 13 86, and let one of our friendly staff know of your travel plans.

  3. In branch. Pop into your closest Greater Bank branch and have a quick chat with our team about your upcoming holiday itinerary.

Letting us know about your travel plans can help prevent disruptions to your banking while you're overseas. Transactions in a foreign location may trigger our fraud and security monitoring, which could result in a temporary hold on your accounts while we verify activity.

We may restrict access to our online services based on your location. Contact us before you travel so we can discuss the options available to you.
