Project Status: PLANNED

Regand Park Dubbo

Regand Park is located on the eastern side of the Macquarie River and is accessible via a new walkway. It forms an integral link to the river corridor path and cycleway system. The new 2.5km riverside walk under the boughs of centuries old River Red Gums provides beautiful vistas back along the Macquarie River. As you enjoy this walk, you are likely to see many local species of birds and animals that make this river corridor home.

This project aims to retain and reinstate pre-European vegetation communities, improve the viability of habitat for flora and fauna, improve water quality in the Macquarie River and ensure that the function of the floodplain is not compromised.

Planting dates: March - April 2021
