Greater Bank is partnering with the Newcastle Jets to once again present the 2019 Community Match when the home side takes on the Western Sydney Wanderers in their Round 8 clash at McDonald Jones Stadium on Saturday, 30 November.
The annual Community Match is a chance for the whole family to get along to McDonald Jones Stadium from 4:00pm and experience the Family Fun Fair before a massive double header match day. The W-League Round 3 match kicks off at 4.30pm against Canberra United before the A-League game gets underway at 7:30pm.
This year’s Community Match will support Ronald McDonald House, who recently partnered with Greater Charitable Foundation. Based on the grounds of John Hunter Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation and support for families of children who have been diagnosed with a serious illness.
The Community Match was recently launched at Ronald McDonald House where a number of Newcastle Jets’ A-League stars, including Dimi Petratos, Bobby Burns and Jason Hoffman, dropped in to hand out tickets to the match to families staying at the house.
We are also giving kids the chance to get to the game for FREE, simply by collecting their tickets from our marquee in the Family Fun Fair. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
So make sure you get along to the Community Match to cheer on the Jets’ A-League and W-League teams, and support Ronald McDonald House.
