Jets:TOUR fuelled by Greater Bank

Each year, the Jets:TOUR aims to expand the reach and support of the Newcastle Jets to regional centres across NSW. The tour gives the Jets the chance to give back to their fans from further afield and promote a healthy and active lifestyle in these regional communities.

Over the years, the Jets:TOUR has visited Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Lismore, Orange, Dubbo, Armidale, Muswellbrook and Tamworth.

In 2023, we visited Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour again in September.

As a regional bank, Greater Bank is proud to support this initiative and loves to see our regional branches getting involved in the initiative.

What did the A-League Men get up to during Jets:TOUR 2023?

The Jets:TOUR powered by Greater Bank hit the road in September with the A-League Men’s team heading to Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.

The Jets attended primary schools, conducted a skills clinic for aspiring young footballers, and played a match against Brisbane Roar to C.ex International Stadium.

Sunday 17 September

Jets:PLAY Clinic – 2:30pm - 3:30pm, Wayne Richards Park, Port Macquarie

Monday 18 September

Jets:PLAY Clinic – 4:30pm - 5:30pm, McLean St Oval, Coffs Harbour

Tuesday 19 September

Open Training Session - 10:00am, C.ex International Stadium, Coffs Harbour

Wednesday 20 September

A-League Men’s exhibition Match v Brisbane Roar – 7:00pm, C.ex International Stadium, Coffs Harbour

After a two year COVID hiatus, the Jets:TOUR powered by Greater Bank flew into Tamworth in November 2022 with the A-League Men’s and Women's teams both paying a visit to the regional town.

The Jets used the World Cup competition break to visit the regional NSW centre where they attended primary schools, conducted a Jets:PLAY skills clinic for aspiring young footballers, and hosted a Festival of Football at Scully Park.
